Trust

Trust can seem so difficult to embrace, but your soul is asking you to choose it. Your soul wants you to trust because this is what allows you to experience spiritual love. But in order to trust, you have to stop resisting what you want deep inside. You have to heed what calls you the most.

Your soul created a plan for your life before you ever got here, and your job as a human is to trust that plan instead of denying it. You must give yourself all the experiences of love you long to have and all the growth you want to know.

Thankfully, your life plan is constantly making itself obvious, as is the voice of your soul. All you have to do is notice and listen, and do what you really feel called to do – not what feels safe and manageable. Otherwise, you are letting fear take over your life.

If you trust with all your heart, your fears will be released, and love will flood in, unencumbered. You will finally let yourself live out loud! And this is when you truly come alive. This is when the world gets to see just how amazing you really are.

Now I know that it can be hard to trust after the way this human experience has treated you. I know that your mind might hum with practical details that sabotage love. It is so easy to resist what you really want and to rationalize why you shouldn’t have it. It is so tempting to settle for convention that confines your perfect soul. All too often, you might let your ego tell you what you want, or you might judge your most precious dreams to be too dreamy for this world. But your heart knows that dreamy really means magic, and to leap for magic is what you want more than anything on this earth! It is one of the fundamental reasons why you came here. So no matter how much your mind resists, trust what you know in your heart – that enacting your dreams is more important than anything else in your life.

In my own life, the most important skill my spiritual journey has taught me is the ability to hear my soul at any moment of the day and to heed its call above all else. This heeding is the ultimate trust because it is faith – that spiritual trust that underlies all life. So have faith, brave friend, and let your life open so that it completely and fully blooms! Let it become a sacred garden that mirrors the boldness and the breathtaking beauty of you.

You Are Perfect

You are perfect. You are a magnificent soul briefly living out a human experience. If you love yourself unconditionally, you will see this. Your spiritual perfection will become blatantly obvious.

You don’t need to be fixed. There is never anything “wrong” with you because you are simply here to grow. Your human struggles will never define your gorgeous spirit. They are simply allowing you to expand with love.

We are here as humans to help each other grow, not to fix each other. We are here to hold one another’s hands through our challenges and not judge them. If we do, we undermine the reasons we came here. If we try to fix another’s problems, we defeat their life goals.

In fact, when we try to fix people, we are reacting from a place of judgment. We are imposing our own beliefs onto this fellow human and reflecting potential growth in ourselves. Even healers attract their own issues in their patients. Every teacher is a student and every student is a teacher. We attract what our souls want to learn. Every problem you attract in your life is something inside of you that is asking for more love.

So the next time you find yourself wanting to fix a friend’s problems, look at your own issues first. See that if you grow through your own pain, theirs won’t bother you at all. You will be able to stand by your friend instead of keeping them from pivotal growth. And you will be amazed by their courage.

We have been taught to fix each other because we’ve been taught that we need to be fixed. We have been told to believe that we will never be enough, and so we live extremely disempowered. But you are perfect inside, my brave, magnificent friend, and you don’t ever need to be fixed. You are powerful and courageous, and you have come here to grow with love. You have come here to bring your spiritual perfection to this human experience and transform our sacred earth.

Open Your Heart

I talk a lot on this blog about opening the heart, but what exactly do I mean? I mean allowing yourself to feel more unconditional love than you ever have before. When you do, you will see just how beautiful life really is.

For a long time as humans, we forgot about unconditional love. We lived in survival mode, and love became a luxury we couldn’t afford. But without love, we are only half alive.

Love allows us to thrive, and in my own life I have been deeply reminded of this. I have been given the highest unconditional love that has shown me what my heart is capable of. In trusting the immensity of this gift, a chain reaction has occurred, leading me to yet more love all around. Now I adore every human being on the planet, and I have new eyes to see the world. I am in love with life, and my heart is opened for good.

Last week, I walked through the airport and saw every human being through the lens of unconditional love. I saw each person’s struggles as though they were my own. I thought how beautiful and courageous each one of us is and how much love we long to hold, if only we would allow ourselves to. I realized that I believe deeply in each of us here and how pointless my ego is. All my cold judgment melted away, and my fear became meaningless. Everything made sense that used to puzzle me before.

Pondering the ills of the world, it’s so clear to me now that all anyone needs is to be loved. It is that simple. And when someone receives unconditional love, they come alive. They remember how beautiful they really are. Everything that has ever hurt begins to heal more rapidly than the mind can believe. You see, the truth is that we settle for problems but none of them are really real. They are created out of limitation that has simply forgotten love.

Unconditional love has no limitation. It has no requirements or deficiencies. You don’t have to feel “worthy” of this love because you already, emphatically are. And once you accept this love, you realize how easy it is. Life used to seem so difficult, but now it is effortless and pure.

Every gorgeous human being who crosses your path is asking you to feel unconditional love, and in so doing, to fully love yourself. They are trying to get you to open your heart as you so deserve. Your soul is asking you to do this right now – to love bigger than you ever thought you could. And all you have to do is let yourself be as you naturally are. Once you experience the fullness of love, you won’t ever want to go back. You will see that all the time before you simply forgot how you’re meant to live.

Your Perfect Journey

I think a lot of us can feel like we aren’t doing things “right” on our spiritual journeys. We listen to what some guru says and then apply it to our lives, but all too soon our humanness makes itself obvious. We feel as though we’ve failed said guru’s pious instructions. But there is no “right” way to go about your perfect journey. Your life is a sublime and original unfolding of magic – the magic that is already in you.

Nothing can take away this magic, and nothing can make your finding it less special. You see, enlightenment is rediscovering who you’ve been all along, and how you find yourself is completely up to you. No one can tell you how to do it.

Yes, a spiritual teacher can point out the ways you are limiting consciousness. They can help you to expand your awareness. But such expansion has nothing to do with judgment. It isn’t about analyzing what’s “wrong” with your human experience. It is only about increasing love.

You are here to open your heart to more love than you ever have before. And the way you do this is unique. There is no other path like yours. There is only how much you want to grow.

Just by living during these accelerating times, you are being offered countless opportunities to grow with love. You are being given experiences that are both painful and glorious, and they will change your soul forever. And the only thing this growth requires is trust in your spectacular self.

You are already trusting. Just think about the trust it took for you to come here and live this human life. So allow yourself to trust, and watch it bless your life a thousand fold! Watch it give you perspective in your relationships and allow you to see the love in every human being. Let trust empower you and enable you to truly learn. Let it illuminate your experiences with gratitude because your heart is opening again.

Trust yourself and follow your spiritual curiosity, and you will see life as the sacred classroom it is. Find your growth reflected in the walls around you and the people you share this room with. Grow, sublime being, and let your unfolding unfold, however that happens to be. Unveil your own magic like clouds recede to blue, and then open that sky to reveal the entire cosmos! There, you will find yourself and the answer to every question you’ve ever asked. Such is your perfect awakening and your sublime spiritual path.

Stop Blaming God by Alice of Awakening Starts Now

Thank God for _____; I guess what I prayed for isn’t part of God’s plan for me; This must be a test from God; Things aren’t working out so well… what’s God trying to say to me?

Blah blah blah. It doesn’t matter.

Whether you praise God or get angry at God, you’re still blaming God. Whether for positive or negative reasons, blaming is the act of assigning responsibility to something/someone outside of yourself. It’s an excuse. You give up all your integrity and power away every moment you blame another for anything, without exception, and that includes an external deity that’s separate from who you are.

One of the first signs of awakening humans is a new perspective on what God is, and their relationship to It. At some point, whether suddenly or gradually, you realize that God is not an invisible old fickle man in the sky who only doles out favors for you in return for your devotion. Instead, you come to know God as the ever-compassionate All That Is that is also all of who you are. The final realization is: Wow, I Am God also!

Whatever you are, God is. Whatever God is, you are. It knows only as much as you know, and doesn’t know what’s best for you any more than you do. God makes no decision on your behalf – the Compassionate One cannot by essence inflict Its will upon you. When you pray, you make-believe that you’re speaking to God, but all along you’re talking to your Self, pretending to be a puny little helpless human when you’re a God Self in your own right.

Your prayers are always answered. Why? Because as a Creator Being, you’re the one that allows the answering and not-answering of your prayers. There is no other God that says yes, no, or not now for you. That’s always been you. To say that God has blessed you with this or God is punishing you for that is to do yourself an enormous disservice to your God Self, and only slows your progress to permanent Freedom, which can only be had through taking full responsibility for all of your creations.

You were created from All That Is, and as such, have been given full Creator rights. God gave you full creatorship to answer all the prayers you ever uttered, and by the choice of your free will, you decided for yourself whether or not you wanted to grant them. If a prayer was answered, it was because you believed yourself worthy of it. If not, there was something in you that didn’t truly want it, or felt that you deserved it. At no point was there ever an outside force that judged whether or not you will have your prayers fulfilled. For the awakening human, there will come a time when he/she will let go of praying altogether, as I have, preferring to sit with Self instead and speak your wishes directly to It.

You, dear God, need to stop this childish game of blaming an external God – can’t you see that, in this circular relationship, you only end up blaming yourself? As long as you give up your responsibility, you will always remain helpless and hopeless – two things that will instantly dissolve once you choose to reclaim your Creatorship.

Be God. Be responsible. Answer your own prayers. Choose what you want, and let You, God, give you exactly what you want. If there ever was a plan from Source, that was the only plan It had for you – to allow you to create and enjoy without limitation, so that It may enjoy Its creations through you.

So dear Creator, let’s end the blame game today – and start creating the way to your Freedom!

Then one day, she woke up to an inner message that said,  “All the answers are within. You Are Intuitive

You are deeply intuitive, whether you realize it or not. Every day of your life, you are sensing what’s around you and using it to inform how you act. As you go about your day, you are picking up the energy of people and the environments you travel in. Deep down, you know what’s really going on with everything you experience.

We are all incredibly intuitive. Energy is always palpable, and our beings sense the truth. We are constantly fielding detailed information – we simply have to remember this about ourselves.

Just walking down the street, we know what the person passing by is feeling and everything we need to be aware of. We are linking with each other’s thoughts and signaling how we really feel. We can sense each other’s beliefs and all the ways we judge. We know when actions are suspect and words don’t reflect the truth.

Right now, we are living in times of increasing transparency that are asking for the truth. This starts with what we tell ourselves inside before it manifests in the world. When you choose to live with truth in your life, you honor your amazing self. And then you see that the real truth is completely full of love.

When you see the truth about the things you go through, you find that they’re helping you to grow. You don’t have to be a victim, and blame becomes a thing of the past. When you align with what’s really going on with you, you no longer have to hide any part of yourself. You get to be your real you, standing strong and empowered, and more intuitive than you realized.

If you haven’t already done so, start trusting your intuitive abilities, and they’ll become obvious every day. Pay attention to the stuff you somehow “just know” and have always suspected is real. Trust what you feel deep down instead of clouding it with thought. Listen to your most loving inner voice more than what people say. When you do these things, you will see your wisdom unveiled in very specific ways.

You are incredibly intuitive, right now as you read these words. When you embrace this fact, your intuition will lead you from one miraculous connection to the next. You will be absolutely amazed by the magic that manifests. And then you will see that your intuition has always been available in your life. It is a compass for your soul, steadfastly guiding you towards the truth.

Feel

During these times of great transformation, we are being called to feel everything we haven’t allowed ourselves to feel in the past. We are being asked to deeply feel the emotions we’ve denied and shunned. This is because feeling allows us to heal our emotional wounds.

You see, as we go through life, we tend to store painful emotions in the body. This pain remains lodged inside, unable to be healed. In order to dislodge it, we must feel it in the healthiest way possible. When we do, pain moves through us and can be released. We become free of the wounds we’ve buried.

Empathy helps us with this. When we empathize with ourselves or another, we validate what’s being felt. We accept emotions with love, and this enables us to fully feel them and then let them go. This is how we stop suffering.

And that is why the best way to support others is to allow them to learn the lessons they came here to experience. This means standing by someone as they endure their difficulties but not interfering, yet indeed holding their hand through life. We must give others the space and freedom to be human and to feel what they came here to feel. We must experience life deeply instead of avoiding, fixing, or judging all that we go through.

We are here to feel things that we can only experience while living a human life. We are meant to learn from our emotional adventures and assist one another in doing this. Let’s allow each other to be dual natured humans without judging. This is how we experience the growth our souls’ earnestly desire.

Allow yourself to feel what life brings up in you so that you can fully experience it. You don’t have to react to these experiences or hold on to them – or let them rule you in any way. You simply have to feel them. And once you do, you can let them go because they’re no longer in the present moment. They don’t have to stick around and define beautiful you.

You are here to love, to cry, to laugh, and to feel moved with every fiber of your being, without having to judge any of it. You are here to feel all the nuances of experience, utterly and completely, and take this wisdom with you forever. This is what allows you to gain precious experience. This is how you allow your gorgeous soul to grow.
